Alligator Families,

I would like to thank you all for hanging in there with us this entire school year. It has been challenging, yet rewarding to know that we can do anything we set our minds to. Our students, staff and families have grown. We stretched ourselves to learn about Zoom, Google Classroom, Aeries Communication and the multitude of other platforms that Teachers use. My personal favorite is Zoom, because it allows us to continue to “see” each other. We did it TEAM! We are all on the same team. The team that puts our students first. The team that wants the best for each, and every, one of our students. The team that perseveres in the face of adversity. The team that supports each other.

As we look forward to Summer Break, don’t forget to have your child/children continue to log into iReady, Jiji and MyOn(Virtual books through Renaissance Learning). Twin Rivers is also offering (3) different summer programs- Under the Sea, Freedom School, and Hmong School. I have posted flyer information on Aeries Communication last week.

Make sure you get your child/children’s laptop inventoried, so they can keep them over the summer. Also, please return all hardback books to the school by Friday, May 28th. The last day of school will be Friday, June 4th. It is a Minimum Day. In-Person learning will end at 9:41 a.m. and Virtual Learning will end at 12:57 p.m.

If you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to call me at 916-566-1810 or email me at Jacqueline.dewitt@twinriversusd.org.

With much love and respect,

Ms. DeWitt
